Once your payment is confirmed, we’ll email you our Sample Collection Protocol. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to ensure you collect a representative sample. For each sample, you’ll gather small portions from multiple points in the area, combine them, and label the bag as specified. Detailed instructions for soil, compost, and liquid samples will help you collect accurately, preserving the biological integrity of the sample.

For the most accurate results, please arrange for your sample to arrive Monday through Wednesday. Samples arriving on other days risk processing delays, which can impact the biological composition and accuracy of the assessment. Our team will handle samples as soon as they arrive to maintain freshness.

We recommend avoiding shipping on Thursdays or Fridays. Samples need to arrive in our lab between Monday and Wednesday to ensure they are fresh and ready for analysis. If a sample arrives later in the week, it may not be processed until the following week, which could compromise its biological accuracy.

We’re equipped to handle multiple samples, and discounts are available for submissions of two or more samples:

• 2 Samples: £100.00 + VAT
• 3 Samples: £145.00 + VAT
• 4 Samples: £180.00 + VAT
• For 5+ samples, please email us for a customized quote.

You’ll be able to specify the number of samples during the booking process, and we’ll include this information on your invoice.

Once your sample arrives, you can expect to receive your Soil Health Report within 48 hours. We’ll email the report to you and include an analysis of the biological makeup of your soil. If you have questions, our team is here to help interpret the findings.

The report provides a detailed breakdown of microbial groups essential to soil health, such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes. Understanding these levels helps you gauge soil vitality and make informed decisions about soil management. If further interpretation is needed, we can assist with explaining the implications of these results for your specific soil type and goals. For a small additional cost a video recording of the assessment will be created with the first reading being narrated. This helps you to more fully understand the wonderful world beneath our feet.
